Te Quiero vs Te Amo... Te Quiero literally means I want you but is commonly used as I love and care for you. Whereas Te Amo means I'm IN love with you. The latter being that fanciful state we rarely inhabit and may be more suitable for a greeting card. ~Timbuc2
